About Us

Telling our Story in a New Way

Our new agency video brings our work and who it helps directly to you, in a never-before seen way."

Our Mission

Community Servings is a not-for-profit food and nutrition program providing services throughout Massachusetts to individuals and families living with critical and chronic illnesses. We give our clients, their dependent families, and caregivers appealing, nutritious meals, and send the message to those in greatest need that someone cares. Our goals are to help our clients maintain their health and dignity and preserve the integrity of their families through free, culturally appropriate, home-delivered meals, nutrition education, and other community programs.

Our Board

Sandra Sims-Williams
Sandra is the Chief Diversity Officer for the Publicis Groupe, where she is a thought leader and partner on the strategy and vision for Diversity & Inclusion. Publicis Groupe is the parent company of Digitas, our long time title sponsor of Pie in the Sky. After a tour of our facilities Sandra said she was "truly inspired and motivated by the range of areas in which the organization has evolved." She joined our board to find out how to "reach beyond what is known to areas not common in healthcare for assistance."

Our Staff

Christopher Muhammad
Director of Operations Thanks to Christopher's leadership and unwavering commitment to our mission, Community Servings has never missed a delivery day. Starting with us as a volunteer in 1994 with a background in the military and food service, Christopher worked his way up from dishwasher to delivery driver, delivery coordinator and, finally, to Director of Operations in 2005. He now oversees drivers, delivery routes and the maintenance and repair of our facility and fleet of vehicles.
