About Us

Telling our Story in a New Way

Our new agency video brings our work and who it helps directly to you, in a never-before seen way."

Our Mission

Community Servings is a not-for-profit food and nutrition program providing services throughout Massachusetts to individuals and families living with critical and chronic illnesses. We give our clients, their dependent families, and caregivers appealing, nutritious meals, and send the message to those in greatest need that someone cares. Our goals are to help our clients maintain their health and dignity and preserve the integrity of their families through free, culturally appropriate, home-delivered meals, nutrition education, and other community programs.

Our Board

Doreen Vigue
VP of Public Relations Doreen Vigue is the Vice President of Public Relations for the Comcast Greater Boston Region, where she oversees all public relations strategy and media relations for the countrys largest cable company in Eastern Massachusetts. Our Staff

Mary Hinson
Office Adminstrator Mary started at Community Servings in November 1999 -- right in the middle of Pie in the Sky, one of our largest fundraisers. Back then, we didn't have voice mail so Mary spent her first few days taking message after message from pie buyers! Since then, she has continued to keep the office running and welcome visitors. Before Community Servings, Mary worked at Project Star, a daycare program at the Dimock Center for children and families affected by HIV/AIDS, and helped run several family businesses in Roxbury including a restaurant and a store.

Our Supporters

Ron Ansin
One of Massachusetts' most inspired philanthropists, Ron has supported every fundraiser we've ever hosted and gave the lead gifts to both our capital campaigns. But it is his wise counsel and friendship we treasure most.
