Valentine's Day Cupid's Coming Out Party

On February 13, 2010 we partnered with Boston Spirit Magazine, Bostons premier gay and lesbian publication and the W Hotel, to host Cupid's Coming .  In addition to having great music by DJ Mocha, gift bags with items from Rebel Beauty and Bliss Spa, and lite bites from the W we also had a live singles auction.  Varla Jean Merman auctioned off singles that were featured in the January/ February issue of Boston Spirit Magazine raising $2,530.  Special thanks to all our participating single!

Combined with ticket sales and raffle tickets we made a total of $11,650.  All of the proceeds go back to Community Servings; enabling us to serve another 2,330 meals.
We would like to thank all of our sponsors for their support and donations.  Be Our Guest provided the beautiful d￩cor for the venue.  JK Event Photography took great photos at the party and afterwards of partygoers with Varla Jean.  Rebel Beauty Products and Bliss Spa donated all of the products that went into our gift bags.  We would also like to thank the W Hotel for their hospitality and helping to make the night such a success.  Last but not least, many thanks to all who attended.  We hope you had as much fun as we did and we hope to see you next year!
