Community Servings is a wonderful organization, and I'm glad you've taken time to stop by the site. For the past five years, I have organized holiday baskets in December, with the great help of coworkers past and present.

A couple of years ago I became familiar with the Pie in the Sky event, and bought pies to support it. This year, I want to step it up - 1) by becoming a pie seller and 2) by working in the Community Servings kitchen during pie time with my Little Sister Sabrina.

Buying just one $25 pie will feed a Community Servings client -- someone who is critically ill and cannot shop for or prepare meals for themselves -- for a full week.

If you'd simply like to make a donation, you could choose to have CS deliver it to a client instead, to bring added cheer to their holidays.

You might also consider purchasing a $75 apple raffle pie, in which you get a delicious pie as well as the chance to win some cool gifts.

Of course, it might sound trite to say, but the real gift is supporting an organization who supports others in very tough times. And a delicious pie baked by amazing chefs from local restaurants? That's just the cherry on top of your generosity.
