Pie in the Sky 2011 - Why I Sell Pies...
Here at Community Servings we feel incredibly privledged to have such fantastic and dedicated volunteers - during Pie in the Sky and year round. In this forum, hear why our pie sellers decided to sign up and support our mission. A very special thank you to all of our sellers and volunteers - it's because of your hard work that we are able to feed thousands of our critically ill neighbors every year.

I sell pies because I am able to help Community Servings fund the delicious, healthy meals delivered to the door of the acutely ill, their families and their caregivers. It is a nice way to give back during the Thanksgiving season. Thank you to all, BFJ

I sell pies to help Community Servings feed people. It's simple. In Atlanta, I donated art and time to ArtFest, which did something similar. Here, it's pies.

I sell pies because after spending a few hours in the Community Servings' kitchen two years ago, I wanted to do more. Selling pies to support those in need gives me even more reason to be thankful this time of year (and year-round).

I sell pies to help families during the holiday season. I feel there is nothing more important than family. Almost 100% of my pies were donated to families in need so they could share a meal. It is a great cause and thank you for your support

Giving back is a most important part of my life. This is my 13th year proudly pedaling pies. I live to serve and I can serve my both community and pie at the same time. What could be better than that?

Community Servings provides an invaluable service to a very vulnerable population. And where else can you donate $25 that will feed someeone for an entire week! Its a great organization and the people who buy the pies really enjoy them. Its a win-win for everyone!

Community Servings helps critically ill and homebound individuals in Greater Boston year round. This Thanksgiving a tasty treat from Pie In The Sky can bring your family and friends joy while helping others in return. What's better than that? Having purchased a pie myself last year I know each and every one is made with love and is delicious!

I sell pies to support a fantastic, well run nonprofit organization and to try to give back to my community in some small way. Community Servings provides critical nutrition to individuals too sick to cook for themselves. Every pie sold for $25 feeds a critically ill person for a week. And everyone needs a pie on Thanksgiving!
