SPECIAL EVENTS and SEASONAL VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

In addition to our need for volunteers in the kitchen, Community Servings also relies on generous volunteer support to help ensure the success of our special events program.

We have many unique and exciting events. Recent opportunities have included serving food in the celebrity chef tent at Taste of Boston, an annual celebration of local food in Boston’s City Hall Plaza; registering guests at the fabulous FashionPlates 2004, a Michael Kors fashion show and cocktail reception at Filene’s in Downtown Crossing; and helping out at Pie Central for Pie in the Sky, our annual Thanksgiving pie sale.
