For the past year, Hebert has been one of our most dedicated Saturday Delivery Volunteers. He is always there in a pinch. He is available most Saturdays and helps us out when one of the regulars can not make it or during our Thanksgiving and holiday meal deliveries. Hebert came to us after a long personal search. He wanted to do something to give to others. He sought different volunteer opportunities and for one reason or another they did not work out. Finally, through an internet search he found Community Servings. He states, “I felt so welcomed on my first day. I could feel the warmth and caring. It did more good for me than for those I was serving.” Hebert has been with us ever since.
