Thanks for Your Support This Holiday Season!

Thanks to hundreds of generous and intrepid volunteers, our clients' holidays included thoughtful gifts and a festive meal.

In the weeks leading up to the holiday season, volunteer basket makers found room in their budgets -- and their hearts -- to create beautiful gift baskets filled with items on each client's "wish list." On Saturday, December 19, volunteers and staff delivered over 400 of these baskets to our critically ill neighbors to help brighten up their holidays.

On December 23, our dedicated staff and 60 volunteers set out once again, traveling throughout Greater Boston with holiday meals that included Cornish game hens, pumpkin pie and all the traditional trimmings.

One of our clients expressed: "I want you to know how much I appreciate all your hard work and efforts to help make my Christmas this year. When my holiday gift basket arrived, your care in choosing the items brought such joy to my spirit that I was able to put a candle in my window and allowed my heart to celebrate the holiday season."

Community Servings is deeply grateful to each and every volunteer who purchased items for our client's gift baskets, called clients for their holiday wish lists, delivered holiday meals and baskets, organized toy drives, prepared and packaged meals, and sorted holiday baskets. Your time, energy and dedication are an inspiration!
