At a recent Community Servings event, Teaching Kitchen Manager, Susan Logozzo showed a group of donors how to make a simple meal shine by adding a homemade salsa.
Much more than a tomato-onion mix, salsa can be used as a sauce or relish, Susan explains. Combine chopped fruits and vegetables with herbs and an acid to create quick and healthy salsas like, Fig and Nectarine or Salsa Verde.
