Corporate Volunteering

Strengthening bonds and the community.

GET INVOLVED

We’re always in need of extra hands to help us make 20,000+ meals weekly and frequently host corporate volunteer groups in our production and packaging kitchens to help our team peel and chop veggies, portion soups, stews, and
salads, and package meal bags for our clients across Massachusetts experiencing critical and chronic illnesses.

This high-impact, hands-on volunteer experience is also a great way to strengthen bonds between coworkers while giving back to our community. All new kitchen volunteers receive a 20-minute orientation and food safety training at the start of their first shift.

A $60 donation per volunteer per shift is required, providing two weeks’ worth of scratch-made medically tailored meals to a person in need.

Volunteers from Chiesi’s Boston office in our Liberty Mutual Packaging Kitchen helping our team fill medically tailored meal containers.

Volunteers from our partner Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts building meal bags for our clients in the Volunteer Packaging Kitchen.

Members of Alnylam’s team recently stopped by to volunteer and help feed our critically and chronically ill clients. Here, they’re precisely portioning out protein so every clients gets exact nutrition they need to stay healthy.

Volunteers from Rockland, MA-based Alletess chopping fresh kale in our Production Kitchen that our cooks used for delicious and nutritious Kale Soup!

Thanks to the help of corporate teams like Boathouse Group, we were able to keep up with the demand for our medically tailored meals last winter!

The team from Moderna recently stopped by to lend a helping hand in our kitchens portioning, packaging and labeling scratch-made medically tailored meals for our clients.

Thank you to our friends at Sanofi for helping our Packaging Kitchen team build the homemade "soup stacks" our critically and chronically ill clients receive in their weekly meal delivery!
