Corporate Volunteering

Strengthening bonds and the community.

We love hosting corporate volunteer groups in our kitchen to help our team peel and chop veggies, portion soups, stews, and salads, and package meal bags for our clients experiencing critical and chronic illnesses.

Our high-impact, hands-on volunteer experience is a great way to strengthen bonds between coworkers while giving back to our community.

A $60 donation per volunteer, per shift, is required beginning September 7, 2021, providing two weeks’ worth of scratch-made medically tailored meals to a person in need.

Volunteers from Chiesi’s Boston office in our Liberty Mutual Packaging Kitchen helping our team fill medically tailored meal containers.

Volunteers from our partner Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts building meal bags for our clients in the Volunteer Packaging Kitchen.

Members of Alnylam’s team recently stopped by to volunteer and help feed our critically and chronically ill clients. Here, they’re precisely portioning out protein so every clients gets exact nutrition they need to stay healthy.

Volunteers from Rockland, MA-based Alletess chopping fresh kale in our Production Kitchen that our cooks used for delicious and nutritious Kale Soup!

Community Servings requires all volunteers to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and wear a face mask when in our building. We have instituted this policy to help protect our staff and the thousands of immunocompromised neighbors across Massachusetts who rely on our medically tailored meals.

A photo of a vaccination card is acceptable proof of vaccination status. If preferred, group members may also bring a hard copy with them on the day of your team-building experience. Please do not email or text photos of vaccination cards to our team.

Please note that all volunteers must wear pants covering their ankles, long-sleeve shirts, and close-toed shoes to be in our kitchen.
