Community Servings needs your help to make sure our pie sale goes off without a hitch! We need a number of volunteers on stand by on Tuesday, November 24th who are willing to be deployed to a Pie Pick up location in case any of our volunteers are unexpectedly unable to participate. This could be at any of our 21 regional pick up sites from Beverly to Hingham. Flexibility is appreciated.
We will call you on Tuesday morning if your help is needed to hand out pre-ordered pies to buyers. Each site will have a Team Leader to instruct and oversee the day’s events. Most sites will be outdoor walk-up or drive thru locations, all of which will abide by COVID-safety regulations. Masks, gloves, and hand-sanitizer will be provided at all locations.
Activities include site set-up, unboxing and organizing pies, checking off pre-registered buyers, distributing pies, line management, and site breakdown.
Positions will be outside rain or shine. Weather appropriate dress required. Masks will be required for all volunteers for the duration of the shift, covering both nose and mouth. We ask that volunteers take their temperature the morning of Tuesday, November 24th to ensure there is no sign of fever before arriving to your shift.

Please note that as per guidance from the Commonwealth, all volunteers arriving from out of state travel must quarantine for 14 days or produce a negative COVID-19 test result that has been administered up to 72 hours prior to their arrival in Massachusetts. Travelers coming from lower-risk states as designated by the Department of Public Health (ME,NY,VT,NH,DC,CA,WA,HI) are exempt from this policy and do not need to quarantine or produce a negative COVID-19 test before volunteering.
