The devastating effects of COVID-19 have hit Boston’s hospitality industry especially hard.
Since our founding 30 years ago, chefs, restaurateurs and caterers have provided unwavering support to help us feed critically and chronically ill neighbors across the region. Now, we ask that you join us in returning the favor. By purchasing a gift card, safely picking up take-out, or signing up for delivery, you are not only helping to ensure that our local restaurant industry survives, but that it can return and thrive.
You don’t even have to pick-up in person if you don’t feel comfortable. Apps like Caviar now have no-contact delivery, which you can request when checking out. In other good news, GrubHub is no longer collecting commission fees from independent restaurants, and Uber Eats is now waiving delivery fees.
While dining out isn’t what it used to be (and it won’t be for the foreseeable future) we hope that you’ll consider doing whatever you can to show your support for this selfless group of talented owners, chefs and cooks, mixologists, servers, and other industry professionals.
To help create a groundswell of goodwill and support for your favorite eatery, we encourage you to snap a pic of your burger, Bolognese, brick-oven pizza or babaganoush (really, whatever you order) and take it to social media using the hashtag #DiningInBOS.
To start planning your next meal, check out our list of restaurant partners. We recommend visiting each website for the most accurate information about hours and gift card purchases. Please note we are updating this as often as possible.
